  • We teach in specialist language labs, well-equipped modern laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology, special classrooms for teaching Social Science, History, Geography, Maths, Music and Art.  One of the computer rooms is equipped with 3D printers. Each subject is taught in the multimedia classroom with the computer and data projector or interactive board. The teachers have tablets at their disposal.  
  • An important part of Gymnasium is an above-average sport centre, which offers 3 gyms (including one climbing wall), sport grounds for the ball games and a running track located in the nearby forest.

  • Teambuilding courses for the freshman class, and ski and sport courses both in summer and winter are traditional events at our school too.  We extend students’ knowledge outside the classroom through historic and educational trips and the Prague Programme.

  • As a result of a long-term cooperation with the Science Faculty of Palacký University, the Gymnasium has been given the status of a Faculty Teacher-training School since the year 2008.

  • The School foundation of Gymnázium Zlín was established in our school and the aim is to equip our school with above–average educational and IC technology and in this way provide further education to the students and give the school a higher profile.
  • Our grammar school is located in a peaceful and quiet part of Zlín in the middle of nature, but very convenient within an easy reach of students from all parts of the city.
  • Our school is settled in the building divided into seven pavilions which are connected by the corridors with access for the disabled. In the campus, you can find the summer classroom, which is used for teaching especially in the spring, and summer months.
  • The students can use the free WIFI connection in the whole school. Outside class hours the students can study privately in a library or in the study rooms, both of them serve as a study space while it fulfils a modern student´s study needs.
  • Our school has own school canteen which cooks three meals daily (one of them is always salad) and our cooks provide nutritious and balanced meals. There is also a snack bar where students can buy light refreshments.
